Forest Bright lives and works in Beijing, China. The watercolors included here were painted while traveling around LuGu Hu in western China, an area heavily influenced by Tibetan culture and home to the last actively used pictographic writing system. Accessible through a seven-hour, mountainous, death defying bus ride, LuGu Hu is a very peaceful place.
